About 2019 Charlottesville Women in Data Science Conference

The Charlottesville Women in Data Science Conference, hosted by the UVA Data Science Institute in collaboration with the Global WiDS Conference, brings together the regional data science community to celebrate, support, and educate women in data science.

The 2019 Women in Data Science Charlottesville Conference will feature morning and afternoon keynote presentations by two incredible women working in data science: Rama Akkiraju (Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor, IBM Watson) and Meredith Broussard (Data Journalist and Author). The conference will also feature a panel discussion with women founders and excutives, research highlights and skills sessions.
